About Our Church

Messiah Lutheran Church a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, held its first worship service on June 7, 1970; formally becoming Messiah Lutheran in June 1971 with 25 charter members. From these humble beginnings, Messiah has grown to over 400 members. Known in the community as a 'young' church, Messiah completed a beautiful, new worship facility in 2000 to accommodate our growing congregation. In May 2011, the congregation voted to move forward with a much needed building addition. The Building Committee is in its initial planning stages, but we hope to be breaking ground on the addition in the Spring of 2013.
